Aidan Plank and Garrett Folger Album Release Show

Celebrating the release of their new album, "DUO", Garrett Folger (trumpets) and Aidan Plank (acoustic bass) will perform a set of improvised compositions as a duo and as soloists. The new album features a set of 14 improvised pieces recorded at Suma Recording Studios in September, 2024. About the recording:

This recording is joy, music making stripped to its barest "ESSENCE": two friends improvising together, crafting form, harmony, melody, and rhythm in the moment, as the poet and her lyre come together to prepare their own musical poetry in Sappho's fragment. Enjoy and breathe with us. -Garrett
